My work for this exhibition pertains heavily to my thesis methodology and research, looking into the idea of preserving the humanness of our design in the face of ever-growing technology. This involves embracing the all too human aspects of our design; the unpredictability, the mistakes, the flaws, the process of exploiting these things and elevating them. We see this in our reclaiming of printer mistakes in this show, elevating the mishaps that all too often happen and embracing them as their own pieces of artwork. I focused on layering and scale, deliberately recreating my work at the wrong scale or with ink stains on it, reworking the composition and embracing the unexpected additions.
